How to ENGAGE Your Fanbase
Sitting down to work today, which I accomplished quite a load full … I find a new groovy tool for pulling in news feeds to stay on my game. And guess what I find. A very interesting list of “what to do’s” from a universal perspective. Which they all hit right on the mark. The book, Engage is written by Brian Solis. He is a globally recognized as a leader in the “new media” arena/genre.
He says in his article:
- Redefine what you know and don’t know about social media to reset the foundation for learning and advancement (specific to your world)
- Determine where to start, focus, grow, and to what extent
- Collect and package information to win support for pilot programs and campaigns
- Determine the amount of resources to support programs
- Identify influential voices within social networks
- Engage in meaningful and useful ways that deliver value and build both relations and relationships
- Establish a conversational workflow to scale social media across departments
- Build communities and inspire advocacy
- Define useful metrics and measure everything from KPIs to ROI
- Learn, adapt, and lead…
That’s some pretty darned good advice…
